Pinnacle Port is a planned resort condominium community uniquely nestled between the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Powell. Intent on providing luxury accommodations and facilities, construction of six seven-story mid-rise buildings began in 1974 and in 1977 the twelve story tower building was completed.
The mid-rise complex provides a total of 168 one, two and three bedroom one level condominiums and the tower building contains 240 townhouse units. These condominium apartments offer upscale accommodations to both permanent and temporary residents.
Pinnacle Port offers owners and guests a variety of recreational facilities and opportunities, in keeping with a goal to be a high quality resort community. The facilities include two swimming pools; one of which is an outdoor pool and the other is an indoor/outdoor pool that is heated during the winter months. Guests are welcome to bring their boats, launch into beautiful Lake Powell and use the newly renovated 26 boat-slip marina. On-site parking for boats and trailers is available. Other recreational amenities include saunas, a well-equipped playground for children, picnic area with barbeque grills, 4 tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, exercise room and a beachfront community room with a full kitchen.
The beach at Pinnacle Port is one of the most beautiful beaches found anywhere in the world and offers all of the amenities expected at a world class beach. Because of its location adjacent to Lake Powell, Pinnacle Port offers a full range of water sport activities associated with boating and fishing.
Pinnacle Port was also once the set for the movie “CONDO,” which was based on the book CONDOMINIUM by John D. McDonald. This movie can still be seen occasionally on late night television movie channels.
